Bondurant Architecture specializes in the design of buildings using Structural Insulated Panels (SIPs). This construction technology has gained popularity among clients seeking better building performance at a lower cost than traditional methods of construction. SIPs structures are inherently more disaster resistant and energy efficient. SIPs buildings typically use 50% less energy to operate.
SIPS are also faster to construct. SIPS are pre-engineered for a particular application and can be manufactured while the site work is progressing and delivered as soon as the foundation is ready. SIPS are assembled on-site much faster than conventional construction. Buildings made of SIPs are generally constructed in half the time of conventional stick built structures.
In addition to designing buildings made of SIPS, we also adapt existing designs by others for use with SIPS. We also can provide additional consulting services for SIPS manufacturers., like plant lay-out, shop drawings, and on-site inspections.
